Cardmembers must enroll each quarter into two retailers and one purchase category of their choice, or all Net Purchases will earn no more than 1.5% cash back. You will earn 6% cash back on your first $1,500 in combined Net Purchases at your two chosen 6% retailers. You will earn 3% cash back on your first $1,500 in Net Purchases in your chosen 3% category. There are no limits on your 1.5% Cash Rewards earnings. During any calendar quarter in which you spend more than $1,500 combined at your two 6% retailers, you will earn 1.5% Cash Rewards for any additional spend at those retailers during that quarter. During any calendar quarter in which you spend more than $1,500 in your one 3% category, you will earn 1.5% Cash Rewards for any additional spend in that category during that quarter. Merchant subsidiary purchases and third-party delivery services are not eligible for additional Cash Rewards earning and will earn 1.5% Cash Rewards. In addition to earning 1.5% cash back for every $1 in eligible Net Purchases, Shopper Cash Rewards cardmembers will earn an additional 4% cash back (5.5% total) for every $1 in eligible Net Purchases spent on prepaid car and hotel reservations in the Rewards Center using your Shopper Cash Rewards card. IMPORTANT CHANGE: Effective April 14, 2025, gas station and electric vehicle charging station purchases at discount stores/supercenters, wholesale clubs and grocery stores/supermarkets will earn 1.5% cash back. Cash back is redeemed in the form of a statement credit, or a deposit made to your U.S. Bank Savings, Checking or Money Market Account based on your designation. The redemption value may be different if you choose to redeem your cash back for other rewards. Cash rewards do not expire as long as the account remains open.
